A customer came to us with a conundrum. She wanted to purchase a 50th wedding anniversary gift for a couple with discriminating taste and she wanted it to be truly unique. We conceptualized a gift that was beyond imagination. We secured a 2,000-year-old Roman glass amphora that was made by the first glass blowers in Syria. In order to give it the golden touch to celebrate five decades of marriage, we filled it with gold dust and mounted it on a museum stand. The gift, complete with a certificate of authenticity, was a huge hit and the customer and recipients could not be happier. At ICD Jewelry we have a deep appreciation for history, art and culture.
